Alexandra Hetherington Breckenridge is an American actress. Her first role was an supporting character in the teen comedy films Big Fat Liar (2006) and She's the Man (2006). Then, she took on the character of reporter Willa McPherson in FX's show Dirt. Also, she played a supporting part in FX's short-lived drama The Ex List. In the first season, she starred in the role of Moira O'Hara in the role of a young Moira and in the second season, she was Kaylee. She was Jessie Anderson in the AMC series The Walking Dead and Sophie in the NBC series This Is Us. She also voices of a variety of characters on the comedy show Family Guy. Since the year 2019, she has appeared as Melinda "Mel" Monroe in the Netflix series Virgin River. Breckenridge was raised in Darien, Connecticut until she was 10, when her mother and her relocated to California [1The couple lived there for a year before finally arriving in Mill Valley. Breckenridge was 13 years old when she first began to pursue an interest in acting, photography and singing. Breckenridge re-located to Los Angeles with the help of her mother at age 15.
