Kelly Michelle Stables grew up in St. Louis, Missouri. She was a member of The Muny Opera. The University of Missouri Columbia awarded her a BA (with distinction) in Communications and Theatre. After moving from Missouri to Los Angeles in 2004, she became involved in the theatre arts. This included acting as well as conducting more than 20 musicals. Some of these productions include The Little Foxes Brady Bunch : The Musical Peter Pan for the Thousand Oaks Civic Light Opera. Kelly has also begun landing TV and film roles as she continued her improv classes at The Groundlings. Kelly's distinctive voice and petite stature have allowed her to play a variety of roles. She is known for her performance as a co-star with Naomi Watts taking over the character of evil Samara in The Ring 2 but is popularly known as the bubbly bright receptionist of Two and a Half Men. Kelly had a role as an ongoing series on TV Land's The Exes in which she was the role of a party-hopper as well as a paralegal in the days. Kelly was also on the show as Alyssa's charming, smart sister in ABC's Romantically Challenged and as the stressed-out suburban mom in the CW series No Tomorrow. Her soprano voice has been lent by her singing voice to a variety of cartoons such as Doc McStuffins Tom & Jerry and Sofia the First. Her most recent performance was as the dim and lovable Cloud 9 staffer on NBC hit comedy Superstore. Her private life is quiet. She enjoys being with her family members, which includes two young children.
