Antonina Shevchenko
Antonina is a Kyrgyzstani-Peruvian Muay thai fighter, mixed martial artist, and competing with the UFC flyweight division. She's older than fellow UFC fighter and Former UFC Flyweight Champion Valentina Shevchenko. Antonina Shevchenko began her professional journey as a Muay Thai boxer. She made her debut in 2003 at the IFMA World Championship Tournament. Shevchenko won the tournament and defeated Suzane Milliner by unanimous decision. Antonina Shevchenko was awarded another medal in 2007 with a bronze, a silver in 2008, and a gold in the year 2011, and was crowned the IFMA Amateur World Muay Thai Champion in the year 2016. Antonia was first introduced to the professional world in with her debut in 2003. She won the WKC K-1 Light Welterweight World Championships 2012 as well as the Lion Fight Lightweight World Championships in 2016 as well as both the WMC World Championships as well as the Phoenix FC World Championships 2016. Antonina took on Isa Tidblad Kskikangas last time at the Phoenix Fighting Championship. The winner was a an unanimous vote. Shevchenko took on Jaimelene Nievera in Dana White's Tuesday Night Contender Series 11, Antonina displayed her striking prowess by TKOing Nievera with knees. In the aftermath of this victory, Antonina was offered an UFC contract. Antonina Shevchenko made her debut in UFC during The TUF Finals TUF Heavy Hitting against Ji Yeon Kim. Shevchenko won the unanimous decision, but lost her second fight to Roxanne Modafferi via an undisputed split decision. Antonina was able to bounce back from her loss by prevailing Lucie Prudilova in UFC on ESPN Covingtonvs. Lawler with a back naked choke submission. It was the top fight of night for the fight. Shevchenko went 2-2 in the next three fights. She defeated Ariane Lipski but lost to Katlyn Chokagian and Andrea Lee. Antonina lost to Casey O'Neill by second-round TKO during UFC Fight Night Santos Walker.
